The spa district looks back on an impressive past. Its future promises to be equally brilliant. A tour that offers exciting insights into Baden's oldest and most famous district.
In Roman times, Aquae Helvetica – as Baden was called at that time – was already a spa. In the centuries that followed, people from all over the world travelled to the spa district in search of relaxation and healing in the hot springs. Experiences of happiness, excessive frivolity and scandals: The baths had everything to offer in the different epochs.
The current status of the construction project in the spa district will be explored during this tour as the new thermal bath, designed by star architect Mario Botta, is currently being built there.
